Can you clearly identify a defining moment in your life? One of those times in life that really lets you know who you are and what you were meant to do. I can, it happened the day I believed Jesus was able to provide the forgiveness I so desperately needed. On that day, God began to work in a way that changed my life forever. He can do the same for you.  Much more than that, God wants to do the same for you.

 I worked as a structural engineer for many years before I came to faith. I thought I knew what I would be doing for the rest of my life. But, when God opened my mind and heart to the simple message that He provides the only way to eternal life, my plans were forever changed. Almost everything I believed about this world, and the way I look at it, changed from the time I came to faith. God called me to stop designing buildings that will not last, and to spend my time building lives that will never end.

 My wife Sue and I first met when we were children, and have been happily married for a a little over 35 years. We were blessed with three children who are now married to wonderful spouses. Our “empty nest” didn’t stay empty for very long, as God brought our niece to live with us. For over 7 years now we have been truly blessed by having her live with us and be part of our family. We also have five wonderful grandchildren that constantly remind us that we don’t move quite as fast as we once did!

 I received my seminary training at Dallas Theological Seminary where the power of God’s word was opened in new and exciting faith-building ways, and my understanding of the relevance of all of Scripture for all of life was strengthened. I earned my undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, and am licensed in the State of Texas as a Professional Engineer. I continue to learn and grow every day in my life journey with the Lord, and with His people.
